What materials do you work with?

Most of the beads I use are Myuki Glass Beads, imported from Japan. The manufacturer coats them to create myriad colors, textures, and metalized finishes.

For added variety, I incorporate specialty Hematite beads, featuring custom colors and patterns, not otherwise available.

I also incorporate semi precious gemstones, such at Tiger Eye, Malachite, Jade and Jasper to elevate my designs.

Do you create custom designs?

Yes, I can and do create custom designs tailored to a client's unique style and preferences.

However, a lot of the fun of Arm Candy bracelets comes from the wide array of designs from which the customer may create their own custom look.. I currently have over 400 bracelets from which to choose.

Recently, I’ve been approached to create a bracelet set to coordinate with and update the look of an antique bracelet that a Grandmother is gifting her Granddaughter.

How much variety do you have?

At this time I have over 400 bracelets with little duplication. Not every bracelet is available in every size. Frequently, my custom work consists of making bracelets the customers find in a different size. Sometimes customers request a particular pattern in a different color way. I also make sets of Mother-daughter matching bracelets, or identical bracelets for a family

Some customers want a very specific signature look. Others want to accent a particular outfit. Some select bracelets to enhance stacking bracelets they already own. Some seek to highlight a favorite ring or watch. A few come back frequently to add to their wardrobe of Tila bracelets At $20 to $25 per bracelet, its an affordable and joyful occupation.

How are your bracelets strung.

The bracelets are strung on two lengths of South Korean silicone elastic cord, Crystal Tec. This cord is very strong , stretchy and unlikely to break.

What looks can I create?

There are almost as many looks as there are customers to create them.

Some customers want a very specific signature look. Others want to accent a particular outfit or piece of jewelry. Selecting bracelets to enhance stacking bracelets they already own is a popular option. Some seek to highlight a favorite ring or watch.

Do these make good gifts?

At $20 and $25 per bracelets, they make excellent gifts. However, size is an important factor in how comfortable the bracelets are to wear. So it is important to have some idea (Small, Medium, Large) of the wrist circumference of the recipient. T-shirt size is a fairly reliable indicator of wrist size. When in doubt, size up.

How do I care for my bracelets?

Most of the beads are quite resilient. It is easy to forget that they are on your arm. Some of the more expensive bracelets have beads which can be damaged with strong chemicals and abuse.

The 24K gold plated beads are very beautiful, however, they are somewhat more vulnerable to abuse and chemicals. Avoid wearing them in the pool or challenging environments.
